I have a book written through channeling that I wish to publish on Amazon via CreateSpace, both in printed and eBook format. I have already done most of the formatting (page size, margins, fonts, headers, etc.)
I need someone to
- Proof-read the document. It's already in very good shape, just a few tweaks may be required here and there. Important: the original character and subtlelty of intents of the text must be preserved! Preserving the original spirit is more important than proper English or political corectness.
- Make any correction to the layout
- The document contains 10 images. Format them for publication. According to CreateSpace, "All images should be sized at 100%, flattened to one layer and placed in your document at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI." Also, since they will be printed in black and white, it might be a good idea to adjust the images so that they look optimal in black and white. The eBook version, however, will still have them in colors.
Document size: 25693 words, 104 pages (6"x9")
To apply for this job, you must
- Be a native English speaker, or have a very high level of proficiency in English
- Be an individual worker in charge of your time, I don't work with agencies
- Have some familiarity with Buddhist concepts and have a *very* open mind. The title of the book is "The History of the Universe, and the Psychic War of End Times", and you cannot go through the book without completely changing the way you look at yourself and our history. It also contains extremely profound Buddhist principles that will permanently alter your way of thinking. In other words: you can't go through it without transforming along the way, and you must be open, ready and willing to go through that process.
- Be attentive to details
I will provide you:
- Word document containing the book
- 10 images (both within the document and as separate JPG/PNG files)
- Note: the first and last pages of the book will eventually be moved into a separate document for the cover.
Expected result:
- Word document with modifications using Word's Review feature so that I can review the reviews
- If you edited the images, it may be good to send me the updated images (although they'll already be within the document)
Deadline:
- I want everything completed within 2 weeks maximum.
Note: I will also need a graphic designer to do the book cover.
