Can't see newly translated language strings after updating the language file.

Hello, I'm using reddit code which is open source and can be found here: [login to view URL] Language files can be found here: [login to view URL] It's written in python and hosted on Ubuntu 12.04 The code supports multiple languages and each language has it's own directory under /reddit-i18n/ Some of the strings in arabic or french are missing, so I had to add them manually. After uploading the new updated language file ([login to view URL]) I still can't see the new changes when I change the language. It still shows the English ones, which is the default language. I have flushed the cache from memcached on ubuntu, I restarted the app and and have executed the "make" command in /reddit-i18n/ But that didn't help, I'm still not able to see the newly translated strings. Your job is to see what's going on. PS: check the code on github first to get a feeling of the script.
