-Dear sir. I have just read your job posting and become very excited. I think your idea is very good. Your project can be completely done by OpenCV and I have rich experience on OpenCV. Your first step "Webcam calibration" can be done by OpenCV easily. And in "Projector calibration" step, I think you can get conversion matrix on two ways. First, by simply detecting four border points in checkerboard, conversion matrix can be obtained directly. And second, from all crosspoint in checkerboard and corresponding points, conversion matrix can be obtained by using RANSAC algorithm. These functions are all in OpenCV. So I think if you hire me, I 'll completely satisfy you in a week. I'll wait for your reply. Best regards.

I have extensive experience with both image processing and machine learning, and I am skilled in combining these techniques to optimise results. I have furthermore done a similar project, where an input of clocks was used to output the time. This was done in Mathematica, but I also have 2 years experience with Python. My approach to this project will depend on the input; if the image is the same parking lot from the same angle, image processing might prove sufficient. If the parking lot and camera angle vary, machine learning will likely be the best approach. Depending on the method chosen, an image processing algorithm or neural network will be built. Finally, the code will be revised and tested for an accurate result and minimal run-time. Please get in touch for any enquires of previous experience or a more detailed project plan.

I have many years of work on image processing. Also, I have used openCV in my work. So I think I can help. However, I would require some more information on the details of your project: In particular, is it a training-based system (in the sense that we have some pictures of the parking lot at design time) or it should work in an unsupervised manner? Also, does it have to use for many parking lots, or just the one we are interested. Can you, please, provide me with more details? In any case, I think I can help you prepare a high-quality project.
