As a frequent traveler (I stay in hotels at least once or twice a month), I post quite a few reviews on trip advisors. I absolutely love hotels and can tell the difference between a four diamond hotel and a five diamond hotel within seconds of walking into a lobby. To see my writing skills, please review a an article I recently wrote for a client here on freelancer.com. The article is my personal opinion about luxury hotels and my experience with the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Why YOU SHOULD STAY AT A LUXURY HOTEL?
Even if your visit must be brief, you have to consider staying at a luxury hotel on at least one occasion. These more exclusive hotels exhibit certain traits that make them stand out from more moderately priced hotels.
The finer hotels focus on every detail. It’s as though the hotel is run by a staff of perfectionists who have one common goal – making sure every aspect of your stay is flawless. Let’s say you’re visiting a town for the first time, and you didn’t want to bother with the trouble of a rental car. Your luxury hotel will more than likely offer you a complimentary ride to your destination, usually in the hotel limousine or some other grand vehicle.
At the Beverly Hills Hotel (BHH) in Beverly Hills, California, the least expensive rooms are sometimes offered at $350.00 per night. That’s possibly the price of a week at a moderately priced hotel, but for $350.00 you can stay at a hotel where you can be dining in the world famous Polo Lounge with celebrities like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. As far as accommodations, even the least expensive room at the BHH is going to be huge and lavishly appointed with elegant furnishings. The marble bathrooms feature their own television sets and are big enough for a small house party. A fruit bowl that magically refills itself will also be found in your room, along with scrumptious cookies at bedtime.
Can it truly get any better than that? Yes, it can. Luxury hotels offer made to order services. Never expect to be called sir or madam. Almost telepathically, it seems that everyone will know your name. Your favorite things will instantly be remembered and requests are rarely turned down. Once when staying at a five star hotel a guest remarked he was tired of the dinner menu. His server asked him what he would like to eat. The guest, an average guy, in town on company business replied that he would really love a Big Mac Combo. Ten minutes later, the guest was happily dipping McDonald’s famous fries in ketchup.
Luxury hotels typically set new standards in all areas from service, to accommodations, dining, and fitness facilities. Once you stay in a luxury hotel, you will never click your heels to stay anywhere else.
