Hi,
I am creating an application where I need a feature to display cells or say square of 300 X 300 foot on MapInfo files. I have a list of Latitude and Longitude that will be used in cell creation . Concept is that very first latitude and longitude will work the base for others.
1- Take very first latitude and longitude , assume it center latitude-longitude and create a square of 300 X 300 foot around this.
2-Take next latitude and longitude find the location where they will be placed (in which direction)to the square created in step 1 and create another square .This means there is no gap between two square. [ There is possibility of overlapping so you need to avoid that. It is better if you could create a map info file that just create square without taking care of overlapping and another file that will take care of overlapping.]
3- follow step 2 to create all square from remaining latitude-longitude.
Latitude -longitude will be stored in sql server. Create a map info tab file and write C# code to create square.
You will need MS-sql server 2005, visual studio 2008(ASP.net,C#),map-info development environment ( so that you can take refrence of mapinfo library to create square on mapinfo files).
I need complete working code.
Thanks
I am having 10+ years of IT experience including 6+ years of development from FoxPro 2.6 to dotNet C#.
I can do this task, but need some more details.
Thanks.
