Assembly language is an important course that taught in many universities offering computer science degree. However, many students faced a difficulties in understanding assembly language and they find it hard to visualize what happening when assembly language is executed. Wherefore, we should adapt the technology to help students and enhanced learning as well as the overall teaching experience.
In this project we will develop an Assembly Language Simulator (ALS) that helps in understanding the concepts that related to assembly language. Furthermore, it helps in understanding and recognize changes after execution. In addition, the ALS will display the CPU, registers and the content of memory using visual effects. It greatly facilitates understanding the assembly language by allowing the student to learn it interactively.
