Create a software development specification - repost

We have just posted a software development project. However, it's obvious that there's not enough information there to properly assess the work require esp. given the tight dead-line. Also, the project needs to be partitioned out into different layers with clear interlayer protocols so that different teams/developers can work on the project concurrently. This phase's deliverable is a development plan that will enable a successful release of the needed application. The components of the plan should at least include but not limited to the following: -general software architecture and technologies would be required. -definition of the 3 different layers (transport/COM, service/DB, and front end/UI) -schemas, APIs, protocols, etc. needed between the layers -development standards -rough resource estimates and project time line -test and validation plan for each layer -overall project test and validation plan Please refer to our other post regarding the original project.
