I am seeking an linux administrator that specializes in Amazon EC2, to setup a mail server that will be RFC 821 compliant. This server would only handle email and need to be setup to deliver mail from a separate instance that will be running apache and has its own sendmail and postfix installed. The apache server has virtualmin installed as well which email at this point isn't configured correctly. I have two elastic ips, one that has already been setup to reverse lookup the mail server. And the other which is assigned to the apache server.  This will be a low volume mail server an ran on amazons micro instance. The operating system should be ubuntu, amazon linux. Thank you for your time

I have been setting up postfix for a while now so having it RFC 821 compliant will be as standard. If the apache server is the only server that will be sending emails, then postfix can be set to just accept emails from that IP address. If you want a TLS connection then that can be configured as well.
