The use is Ubuntu 9.10 desktop as a media server, that has no keyboard or monitor attached.
Requirement is if power failure occurs, or ungraceful shutdown, or system crash, the ubuntu machine is to auto-reboot, auto-fix any disk issues.
Currently if ubuntu detects ungraceful shutdown, ubuntu stops on boot and asks user to choose which system to run.
Or if there is a disk problem, Ubuntu requires user to run the disk check program from the command line, and to press 'y' a bunch of times to approve attempted fixes.
These operations need to be performed without manual intervention.
Task is to define the ubuntu setup and configuration commands for auto-reboot and attempt for auto-disk recovery.
Only bid if you absolutely know a correct way to setup ubuntu desktop up for auto-reboot auto-recovery that will not require manual intervention.
Thank you.
