Hello. I work in 24/7 linux servers support. I can help you with this task. Integrated NFS in Lacie 5big NAS Pro has some limitation. Why do not you consider the option of iSCSI connection? Best regards, Eugene D.

I am certified (VCP-DCV) in VMware and have been through VMware's training for "Installation, Configuration, and Management" and "Optimize and Scale" These are both week long courses. I am about to sit for my VCAP-DCA which is their master level certification. I am quoting you on just creating data-stores for vmware and attaching them. This should not take any longer than an hour. Two at the maximum. While we are at it we should check to ensure your firmware and drivers are up to date on your ESXi host(s) this can be accomplished rather quickly. Thank you for the opportunity to quote you on these services.

Hello, I have more than 30 years of experiencie as system and database administrator. I have installed and configured multiple ESXI environments, and attach NAS of different makers (HP, IBM, Lenovo, etc), in NFS and iSCSI The plan is easy. I suppose you have already intstalled the ESXI server: - Configure the NAS to create NFS storage. You must indicate the size you want and the partitions you need - Configure the ESXI server (from the web client or from Vcenter if you have) to attach the NAS storage as a datastore (or several, if you need) - Test that work fine, for example create some VM using the datastore Thanks
