About Baltimore Collegetown Network
The Baltimore Collegetown Network brings area colleges and universities -- including 120,000 students and $17 billion in economic activity – into a consortium that benefits each institution and the region as a whole. We articulate the message that Baltimore is a great college town and create programs that strengthen that claim.
About Collegetown LeaderShape
Collegetown LeaderShape® connects students across campuses and with their communities to make a better Baltimore. Designed for students who have a passion for service and want to be civic-minded leaders, it starts with a week of leadership development and is followed by programming and support throughout an academic year. Students learn to be visionary and discover how to apply their skills and passions to our city.
In 2016, Collegetown LeaderShape celebrates its sixth year, with over 300 graduates, 90 faculty and staff members, and 75 community partners. We are seeking a video product that will tell the story of this successful program to a diverse audience. This RFP will help us identify a candidate to work with us collaboratively to tell the story of our successful civic-leadership program.
An ideal video will be used to
• Recruit future students to the program
• Demonstrate the program’s growth and impact
• Celebrate the students, staff, faculty, and community partners who have participated over the years
We are interested in a short video (3 – 5 minutes) including all production and editing. The final product should be in a digital format that can easily integrate with social media. Collegetown will use the video on our website, social media platforms, and in presentations. Delivery for these multiple formats is requested.
Filming will take place at multiple locations and can take place in the summer (August and September), with a December 2016 video completion date. Baltimore Collegetown reserves the right to make adjustments to the time.
