am looking for 2 full time .NET programmers who will take the time to understand the AOL Protocol, it is a complex task involving mail packets and the unpublished aol protocol, I prefer Visual Basic .NET as I have experience in this category, The first expectation of the project is to port a "Secure Login" C++ file with RSA certs to VB .NET to use it as part of the AOL Login Mechanism, the second part would involve mail packets, specifically sending an E-Mail from the AOL Protocol the project will be estimated to be about 2-3 months long, communications will be preferred to be via Skype, ICQ, AOL Instant Messenger. Please only coders with good knowledge of protocols and have understanding of Dynamic Changes in protocols and CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Checks), SSL,and Encryption contact me. Are you aware that AOL now allows you to read / write email using standard protocols (and does not require you to log in to an AOL account to do so)?
I wrote software that reads/writes from/to multiple AOL boxes, regardless of ISP.
We have extensive previous experience with the AOL protocol and was able to deciper most of the AOL AIM protocol (including the ICQ stuff) and the AOL Email protocol.
