Help with custom resource file code.

I am trying to get this resource file code to work with more then 3 files and work with larger files. I can combine the file but having problems extracting the .dat file. It always runs into error. OR: If you have similar code in vb6. I can test and accept. But code must be small and simple. Code in VB6 only.
