Book Cover and Layout Design

SUMMARY: We are publishing a cookbook, and need a creative graphic designer to design the cover (front, back and side) plus the page layout template. The cookbook will first be an ebook, with possibility of publishing later. We have a mock-up drafted in Word so that you have an idea of what we are looking for. However you are encouraged to take a fresh look and come up with your own idea. DETAILS: Specifically we will give you our Word doc draft that includes 11 pages as follows: 1 - Front cover 2 - Back cover 3 - full color section introduction 4 - black & white shopping list 5-11 - black & white pages of three sample recipe collections In return we would ask you to: - Provide 2 mock ups in pdf of front and back cover and side (we prefer you use [login to view URL] for photos...use copies until we agree to final design) - Provide 1 or 2 mock ups of full color section introduction page and black/white shopping list page and recipe pages all in pdf. Next we will review your mock ups and agree on final design (we would turn around within 1 or 2 business days). We would buy the necessary photos from istock and send images to you. Lastly you would send us the final pages in pdf. PLUS you would create an ebook image (jpeg or other image file) similar to the final cover and side design that would be used to promote the ebook. We will retain copyright of the final artwork.
