E-Commerce Sports Equipment Rental Website
I am looking for the web design and build for a rental equipment website based out of Sydney.
There are 3 rental locations (Warehouses) and approximately 20 Products to be rented.
I am keen to utilize an existing e-commerce platform such as Shopify, Magento etc (recommendations welcome) to handle the monetary side of the business.
What I will need is advice on how to manage the rental inventory. E.g when one product is rented out, it is no longer available to search for another customer.
Layout and design needs to be very simple and clean.
Home page would have an equipment rental search box with the multiple fields. I.e location of rental, dates etc.
The customer would then click search to see a list of available products available at each location.
Product pages would need to have really clean images (which I can provide), a space for written details and a qty required input. Once selected, customers can Add to Cart.
Once at the checkout, customers should be offered to add on a number of optional extras (much like booking a holiday, where you get asked to purchase insurance, hire cars and activities at your destination). Some of these accessories though are not for rental, but for actual purchase so the back end system also needs to be able to manage the inventory of actual sold items as well as rental product.
Other Pages for the website would be the standard pages, About us, FAQ, How we work etc.
Website must be fully functional social media platforms - Facebook, twitter etc.
