Accurate location detection of a website user

I have tried maxmind..but it is not so accurate, soecially on mobile devices. There is a javascript support from browsers which is very accurate like [login to view URL] uses. But it raises a popup. I am looking for a way to accomplish the same without raising a popup. This means, need to find a way to do the same that the browser does ? or ability to get the geo co-ordinate without raising a popup ?
