Chrome Extension with logging in features + adding new elements to an existing form

Developer Skills needed Core: Chrome extensions / JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS / AJAX Good to have: Security focused / XML / Transact-SQL We are currently looking for a developer to develop on a partially implemented Google Chrome extension which adds extra features by adding in fields to an existing website form and to save this data when submitting it. Initial work has been started on the project which can be used to continue on with other features (logging in features, partially implemented new fields). This extension currently logs into a database (in the form of a Chrome pop-up extension) and only shows the new fields on an existing websites form only when the extension is logged in. The extension behaviour can be split into the following sections: Completed: 1. Allow users to login directly on the Chrome Extension using the appropriate security standards. If user needs to register or forgets their password, redirect them to an already made external website. Started: 2. Add in various new controls onto an existing form template with the ability to update the retrieved data asynchronously using Ajax or other alternatives. E.g. drop down menus, search combo boxes, date time pickers, checkboxes etc. 3. Use a similar css style set as the original screen. 4. Be able to capture data entered onto the newly added fields and save to an external database when submitting the form There will be various logic that needs to be included after the fields have been added to the screen. If you can complete this job to our satisfaction, we can negotiate on hiring you to implement the various logic required for the screen and possibly to create the same extension in Firefox.
