VLCKit & libVLC with Memory TimeShift Seek for Live RTP Multicast. . Compile the latest VLC SDK for iOS (VLCKit) and Android (libVLC) Must be allowed to pass Apple Store Test Flight and Google Play Store (64Bit). . Build 2 simple Apps (iOS & Android) as test Harness to dev & demonstrate the VLC work. . Build a Memory/Buffer Time-shift Feature in VLC, similar with VOD file Seeking abilities, that works with RTP/UDP Live Multicasting (H.264) e.g Live Video Stream URL: rtp://[login to view URL] . VLC must be stable, smooth and reliable for more than 120 mins. . VLC must set to work to the lowest Latency possible (usually .3 sec) (current test & Tweaks prove .3 sec with stable stream) . VLC must work with fast start (live and Vod) (current test & Tweaks prove 1.2 sec start of Live RTP, stable with HW Encoders.) E.g. We need to be able to view low latency Live RTP stream and also able to Seek up to 2 mins back (if buffer has 2 mins data). The Live RTP stream is not interrupted (not stopped) and continues to always buffer. We just select what to want to view. e.g. Seek(0) it play's fresh live, Seek(10000) it play's 10 seconds in the past. All this without stopping the playback stream. Functional: Initial maybe set the MAX Buffer time (e.g. 120 sec) for the TimeShift/DVR. Default Seek(0), is Set to Live. Start Playing. Set the Seek time, depending the Scribble. Can Pause and also can change Playback Speed rate (slow-mo or fast). e.g Can Seek(5000) 5 secs back, Seek(15000) 15 secs back, Seek(0) 0 sec Live. The Developer Must have experience with VLC open source and preferable in iOS and/or Android VLC SDKs. We are open for any comments & thoughts. Priority will given to the developers with a working demo or similar working demo. Please only submit your bit if you think you can deliver.
