I have a pilot project to prepare a product for a possible buyer. The work will involve finishing a working version of an animated story. The story needs to be about 30 minutes long minimum to make sense to the buyer. The finished product should be on a DVD disc and ready to run. Interested coders are free to choose the software they like to work on as long as they meet the functional requirements. It is preferred that they use DirectX and Microsoft technology, but it is not limited to it. Before the bid is granted, the coder needs to describe the methodology and the techniques to be used and prove feasibility. The story scenes and characters will be provided by our writer and artist. I am accepting bids for describing how to do the work. Bidder needs to submit a technical proposal. Based on the proposal the bidder will be chosen. I am looking for experienced professionals and not just beginners to do this type of work. The purpose is to have a long term commitment from someone dependable and knowledgeable. Coder will be asked about references, previous work samples and artifacts. The coder will work with our artist and prepare for professional production at one of the studios used for that purpose. Please submit the following: - Comprehansive description of the approach, technology, tools, setup, software, hardware and all related info to produce product - Number of hours for each phase and tools used in each phase describing the type of work involved - Number of people to be used in each phase, description of their tasks in the project, required expertise and cost per hour of each individual - Total cost of each phase and total cost of the final product - Time required to finish the final product - Previous experience in doing this work Professioanl individuals may submit a System Design Document, Project plan and Cost sheets. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform See above.
