Hello. Seems not a difficult task, provided a right speed sensor is found. Other parts are not problem at all. I'm not entirely clear what exactly is the scope of the project - creating of the sign or just finding a proper hardware, so don't consider my price as final. Anyway, can do both. I'm an electronic engineer with about 25 years of experience, also about 7 years of experience in 3D modelling using SolidWorks. Experience with Arduino and ESP32 controllers. Hello there. I am Bhnauka From Sri Lanka. I am Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer. when i read your i have some places are not clear. Do you mean , are you going to establish a some radar system on the road and by using this particular radar system you are going to measure the speed of vehicle and inform them to whether they are going correct speed. or are you going to implement some radar system in the vehicle and are you plan to measure the speed of vehicle and inform them to whether they are going in correct speed. i think you are looking a system for the first one which i have mentioned above. but here there are few problems. 1. if you plan to use arduino or raspberry as microprocessor what kind of radar system you expect to use this. ( Because i think arduino will be not powerful enough to do this ) 2. There is much better way to achieve this challenge by using milliliter waves. Because by using you can make very good radar system ( If you plan to use ultrasonic sensor the accuracy will be not correct as well as it is difficult to measure the speed ) 3. according to this , your system should be capable to detect few vehicles in same time. because in same time few vehicles can be moved. 4. if you wish to use ultrasonic sensors for this ( Like traffic police do ) you need some filters as well as some powerful sensors. 5. If you wish to move milliliter waves its costly. that what i think about your project. and if you like to talk inbox me
