My project is about developing a race car telemetry system that is capable of capturing data from a set of sensors, send & process the data in cloud and visualize the data in real-time. The telemetry system is based on Arduino MEGA and the wireless module is ESP8266 wifi module. The website Thingspeak ([url removed, login to view]) will act as platform to display the real-time sensor data. The sensors used to collect the following data from the car:
1. ADXL345: Measure G acceleration of car in the 3 axes (m/s^2)
2. GPS U-blox neo 7m sensor: GPS position (latitude/longitude), Speed (Km/h)
3. TMP006 temperature sensor: Temperature of tyre (°C)
4. HC-SR04 Ultrasonic sensor: Shock absorber (cm)
What I needed is trying to figure out on how to configure the code for the ESP8266 module to be able to send the data to thingspeak. I have done some coding but it is incomplete because I have no experience with configuring with ESP8266 with thingspeak. I might also need to know the connections to the Arduino board as well and ESP8266 especially since it is 3V powered board.
