We covered places such as: The Red Fort (Lal Quila) Dilli Haat Qutub Minar Connaught Place Rajdhani Thali India Gate National Museum Ganga Aarti at Haridwar Har ki Pauri Chandi Devi Temple Yamunotri Temple Hanuman Chatti Janki Chatti Gangotri Glacier Gangotri National Park A small excerpt of the content- क़ुतुब मीनार 75.1 मीटर के कद का क़ुतुब मीनार विश्व का सबसे बड़ा ईंट मीनार है । यह महरौली में स्थित है और इसे संगमरमर और लाल बलुआ पथ्थर से बनाया गया है । अतः आप इसके सौंदर्य की कल्पना कर सकते है । क़ुतुब मीनार गहराई के व्यास में 14.32 मीटर का है और उसकी चोटी तक पहुंचते पहुँचते यह 9 फ़ीट का हो जाता है । टावर के अंदर 379 गोल सीढ़ियां है जो आपको ऊंचाई तक लेके जाती है । यहाँ पर एक चीज़ पे गौर करने की आवश्यकता है की क़ुतुब मीनार दिल्ली मेट्रो स्टेशन के बहुत पास ही है । इसे साल 1200 में क़ुतुब-ऊद-दिन ऐबक ने बनवाना शुरू किया था । इसके बाद सन् 1220 में क़ुतुब-ऊद-दिन ऐबक के जमाई व उनके वारिस इल्तुतमिश ने इस ईमारत में और तीन मंज़िलें लगवाए । इसके बाद 1369 में एक हादसा हुआ जिसमे बिजली गिरने की वजह से मीनार की सबसे ऊँची मंज़िल पूर्ण तरह से नष्ट हो गई । इसके बाद फिरोज शाह तुग़लक़ ही थे जिन्होंने फिरसे इस जगह की मरम्मद करवाई । उन्होंने बनवाने का कार्य शुरू किया ।
