Firstly i will say if a kind of work like this is to be done you will have to demolish all the roof so as to take it higher and nothing much will change but beams will be need most especially at the extreme corners of the place but having worked on similar jobs i can grantee you of a good and successful plan but will need the full picture of the whole place

Hello. What you have here is a classic "chair" system of the roof. Raising those horizontal beams would mean raising the whole roof, raising the upstands (walls at ends) etc. Furthermore, you should check your local council's regulations regarding changing the roofs heights. If you still have not given up after reading this, contact me, we will make something that will work together. And please do not underestimate Engineering by offering 30 euros for a project like this. If you were building the roof from scratch, would you trust that it will not fall down and kill somebody after you have paid 30 euros for its design?
