Hello Programmers, I am new to .NET programming and I need someone who can help me get an old SourceForge program called OptionsOracle by shlomo-samoasky compiled in the latest version of .NET framework. I was able to open the Source Forge project source code in Visual Studio, but apparently there are missing dependencies so I cannot run the program from source. It is beyond my skills to get these dependencies corrected. This is Part One
Part Two: I have also downloaded an exe version of this same program which launches and runs but has a major glitch: it throws a rude error whenever you attempt to download an Options Chain. CBOE allows manual downloads of Options Chain, and they come down as a text file. So the second part of the project is to tweak the code so it imports the CBOE text file into OptionsOracle software. This functionality is already built into the program (and is included in the SF source download) and is called "OptionsOracle DataCenter" but it does not work w/ the CBOE files. Alternatively, Options chain data may be downloaded directly from the web, this functionally is also built into the program and would be the preferred approach if it fits w/in the budget.
Thank you for your interest in this project. I will cheerfully pay $20/hr up to a maximum combined total of $300 for this entire project.
