The objective: modify any relevant files or create a custom injector that prevents a (presumable) server side detection of which platform the user is connecting from. This is signified by a monitor symbol that appears next to a user's name while in a pregame lobby and during live play. In contrast, an Xbox user will have only their level displayed with no monitor symbol. A picture depicting the difference is attached. Furthermore, this symbol first appears when a PC user connects to the PC matchmaking servers, either through a private or public lobby. When hosting a LAN lobby the symbol is not present, which leads me to believe that it is a server side detection. The removal of the symbol may be accomplished by altering the PC user’s default matchmaking servers to the Xbox’s one or alternatively, masking or circumventing the automated appearance of the Monitor symbol for not only the user, but for ALL CLIENTS.
It may be important to note that both versions of the game (PC and Xbox) are very similar, proven by the fact that crossplay is fully implemented. That may be an indicator that both versions of the game are capable of the same features and the fix simply being to edit any relevant encrypted .ini file(s).
