The Business - As a sole specialist offering fusion of traditional-contemporary designed products of exclusivity for mid- upper market. The Concept - An online boutique offering mainly women fashion and accessories, jewelleries, bespoke furniture of non-mass production. The concept of products is intertwining traditional textiles and craftsmanship of Indonesia with modern/contemporary style and designs aimed at UK/European markets. Target Market- Income group of middle class and above The Products- Designer clothing – 40% Contemporary bespoke furniture – 10% Designer & artisanal jewelleries – 20% Batik and hand-woven fabrics – 10% Artefacts and interior decoration – 15% Work of arts & antiquities – 5% The Website - my preference of design of the website: clean look, minimal, classy, alluring, glamorous and user friendly. Features and quality I’m seeking: I want at least a frontend bespoke website with good visual aspects and functionality. Since image is paramount for this business, a very good design is a requisite. • Bespoke frontend (at least) • Clean, minimalistic, professional look • E-commerce, • User friendly navigation • Social media embedded (twitter, facebook, linkedin, instragram etc) • Good speed and tracking feature. • Media player • Dynamic/moving images • A feature to engage target audience e.g sign up / feedback form • Blogging tool • SEO Main menus would include HOME, PRODUCTS (6 categories) ABOUT, CONTACT US, T&C, BLOGS/NEWS, ORDER & DELIVERY (Cart), and LINKS. I am open for your expert suggestion. Sub pages would include category of products (as listed above) and the products under each one of them. CMS: I’m open in terms of which CMS coding to be used as long as the graphic/front end design is not limited or templated. The business is all about image and design and a bespoke front end design is a must. Database-driven, open source preferably.
