I am looking for someone to create the electronics/coding portion of a project I want to do. I am building the woodshop portion of this project just fine, just need help with an electronics/coding. Basically - I am looking for a roulette / prize wheel. I have a circle, divided into 10 pie pieces. On each piece is a 12V LED. On the bottom, is a pushbutton momentary switch. When the button is pushed and held, the lights chase around the circle quickly, with a Beep for each move. When the button is released, the lights gradually slow down, and eventually stop on a pie piece, and remains steady with a steady tone for 5 seconds. Then shuts off and awaits another push. I am not too worried about randomness. If it is truly random, that would be great, or it can be a function of when the button is released, just stopping based on time. Needs to be as small as possible, as it will be mounted behind a 8X11 hanging sign. If the 12v LED's are too onerous, we could use 10 relays, and I can hook lights up to those. I understand the Arduino Nano might be a good solution for this - so I would just need the code, and a parts list and diagram of how to hook everything up. But a dedicated breadboard where I connect power, switch and lights would work as well. I could also implement a master power switch, that would be separate from the action pushbutton, if needed. Like if it needed to boot up or get ready for a few seconds before button push.

The best solution depends on the desired briightness and LED current. Relays wll be too noisly and definitely need too much space. I would propose to use UL2007 for it, but that depends on the LED current. In some cases using of WS2812 (NeoPixel) would be more flexible and extremely more convenient in wiring. Please feel free to contact me in chat for discussion. I have made more than 150 Arduino-based projects on different freelance stocks. I work with Arduino since 2010 and have more than 25 years of experience in programming and electronics.

Hi! I'm Alberto from Mexico, I have done tones of projects like the one you need. You won't need even relay, will be enough with some mosfets, and it can be truly random. I can do it with arduino nano or using some personalized pcb if you want. Can we talk a little more about your needs? I'll love to work with you on this project. Regards!

Hello! I will make code for roulette / prize wheel. I had gone through your project details. Since arduino nano have 14 digital pins so use of it will be a good idea. Since the use of relay will increase the over all size of device, so my suggestion is to use the Transistor for it. The use of transistor will also be more economic for you. Following will be deliverables from my side. 1. Components list. 2. Connection schematics. 3. Assist in making connections. 4. Uploading of code in your arduino via team viewer. Kindly visit my portfolio for the same. please bid quote depend on project work. We will discuss later, while sharing the project work.
