Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation. Proofreading and editing final translated versions. Using the internet and email as research tools throughout the translation process. Prioritising work to meet deadlines. Retaining and developing knowledge on specialist areas of translation. Requirements Applicants must be able to understand colloquial/idiomatic expressions of spoken English. Applicants must be able to speak and type English fluently. Applicants must possess extensive knowledge of grammar and excellent writing skills in English. Applicants must be able to deal with extremely high time pressure to meet a deadline.
