Hello, I am a native Serbian speaker. I have been a freelance translator for 19 years. Apart from this, I work as an English language teacher. I am familiar with correct use and grammar rules of both languages. I started as a student, translating for my sister and her colleagues who were students of medicine at the time. This is when I learned to research as I translate and kept doing so ever after. This habit let me accept translations in the unfamiliar fields. It never affected the quality of my translations. After I started freelancing online I had to expand my scope of services. I learned to create subtitles and use various software in the process (both, online and desktop apps), I started using CAT tools, using apps to transcribe audio and video files. My first and longest engagement in this area is with DeluxeLocalization and GoTranscript. I am familiar with different apps and I master new ones easily. I am interested in this project and I am willing to do a test translation so you can check if you are satisfied with my work. I learned to use subtitling tools all by myself because I needed some video material for my classes at school. After that, I started applying for subtitling jobs. I have used different online tools to create time codes and translate subtitles.
