Social Media Manager

We are seeking a Social Media Manager with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including social media platforms. Ideal candidates will have a unique combination of skills and experience that will include social media marketing, content development, writing for the digital space (e.g. SEO integration) and social platform management. Responsible for creating compelling, engaging content as part of our strategic marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, gain fans/followers to client social media channels and deliver consumer engagement that results in new members to our online community. This includes blogging, creating social media profiles, managing regular posts and responding to followers. We are seeking someone passionate about social media who is a great multitasker to manage our social media presence. You will devise creative strategies to quickly acquire and retain followers for our brand, manage our database of contacts and convert to members. Must have Extreme knowledge of the social media space and always aware of trends as well as up & coming platforms. • Support development of social strategy that advances business goals on multiple social platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, SnapChat, YouTube and more). • Identify, evaluate and make recommendations related to new and emerging channels, tools and techniques. • Ongoing content calendar development that aligns with marketing and communications objectives. • Create and publish compelling content, story ideas, and assets (videos, infographics, etc.) that motivate and excite online. • Report against all marketing activities, complete with actionable insights. • Monitor social media platforms for brand mentions and engagement opportunities. • Respond to relevant mentions – collaborate as needed to reply correctly. • Monitor competitors and the supply chain industry to provide relevant intelligence. • Strategically engage with complementary brands. • Provide remote and occasional on-site support for events/campaigns (real-time posting and engagement). • Work with our team to develop creative and unique marketing campaigns. • Use analytics to measure, monitor and analyze social activity to determine the effectiveness of various social media initiatives and to improve content; procuring effective search/social media; Research, track and analyze data to help improve effectiveness of future campaigns • Create/Manage content that will reflect a consistent voice that properly conveys the client brand for various social media channels • Manage community of fans and followers across all social media accounts • Build partnerships with brand advocates, celebrities, influencers, and other creatives to expand the digital community. • Facilitate conversations among people online and interact with others to answer any questions they may have and provide support.
