Stellar Social Media Manager for Successful Chinese Language Learning Site

RESPONSIBILITIES Revitalize our social media efforts. Enhance company branding and increase customer acquisition by creating meaningful posts. - Use your writing and design skills (Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, etc) to create compelling and attractive posts on Facebook, Google+, Twitter and other social media platforms. - Collaborate with the marketing team to create social media marketing campaigns that help promote company's new product launches and special events. - Interact directly with our social media followers and build a strong community around the Yoyo Chinese brand. 2. Manage a blog with a large audience of discerning readers who want Chinese language and culture taught in a smart, entertaining way. - Coordinate with multiple blog writers and brainstorm marketable topics. - Refine drafts and create graphics to prepare articles for publication. - Create a weekly newsletter to promote the blog and cross-promote social media. - Engage with readers in the blog comments section. REQUIREMENTS - Native English speaker - Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Chinese language - Excellent verbal and written skills (engaging, interesting and fun style) - Proficient with Photoshop or other design software - Great organization skills - Extremely detail-oriented - Experience working remotely and as part of a remote team It's a plus if you have the following experience/knowledge - SEO - Google Analytics - Social Media Ads Placement (Facebook, twitter, Youtube, etc) - Previous social media management experience (including tracking performance metrics) - Online conversion / optimization - Project management experience - Experience using online Chinese language learning platforms like YoyoChinese ABOUT THIS JOB The job will start as a part-time job, but has potential to grow into more full-time hours. Although our main office is located in beautiful Southern California, this position can be filled remotely. That being said, you will be expected to be accountable online and an active member of the team even while remote.
