i want to do this assignment in the best with simple report of 1200 words
Aim:To produce a 3D model/environment that will be textured (using textures maps/imagery that will be created/edited/manipulated within Photoshop), lit appropriately in Maya and will be rendered from which, the resulting renders will be used as a foundation to implement post production using [login to view URL] final outcome from this process will be to produce 3 imageswith post production at HD 720 (1280 x 720).
Objective: The primary objective of this assignment is to take the student through the whole production pipeline for creating computer generated still imagery from start to finish. This assignment will show development from the basic skills learned during the first assignment coupled with new Maya techniques and tools along with the implementation of post production skills using Photoshop to create 2 high quality final images. These 2 images will be the combined result of 3D modelling, lighting, texturing, rendering (including alphas & channels) AND post production.
This project will not only develop your technical ability with software and your skill set in understanding and using and industry standard pipeline to create digital imagery, it will also develop your skills in time management & project management. This assignment will require you to balance your time between the different stages involved and consider how much time you need to spend on each part of each part of the project. Time management and project management are skill sets that will be used on other modules of your degree and are fundamental within industry, so honing these skills now will stand you in good stead for the rest of your degree and your future careers.
Project Deliverables in detail
1 x MayaFile - This Maya file will show development in your 3D modelling skills when compared to assignment 1 as well as show development in your lighting techniques, naming conventions, shaders/materials and the use of display and render layers for the rendering & post production stages. You will hand in the final/latest increment of your Maya file and this file should contain all final content you generated in Maya that is in your final imagery e.g. 3d geometry/model(s), cameras, lighting, particles (if used) etc.
2x renders (base renders) - These will be the renders of your 3D scene from 2 different angles saved straight out of the Maya renderer. (These will be used to show how your scene looks BEFORE the post production stage) Image size: HD 720 (1280 x 720) saved as TIFF or Targa (.tga) format.
2x final images (renders with post production) - These images will be the result of your renders that have come out of Maya that have post production elements applied to them. These will be your final images that show the result AFTER post production has been implemented on the base renders. Image size HD 720 (1280 x 720) saved as TIFF or Targa Format.
1 x Project Report Word Document of around of 1200 Words - This document should summarise all the stages that you have undertaken in order to achieve the final outcome of your 2 final images. This document should contain a minimum of 15 screen shots to visually show the progression of your project. The document should summarise: -
• The modelling stage of your project (the processes involved in creating your 3D scene/model.
• The lighting (of your 3d model/scene) stage of your project.
• The texturing techniques and UV Mapping used on your 3D models.
• The rendering set up and process for the post production stage.
• The post production stage of your project, describing the techniques used in Photoshop to further enhance the look of the base renders to create the final imagery.
• You should also document, what went wrong during the project. E.g. a certain modelling technique not working, problems with rendering/post production etc. Show how you overcame any problems.

• Deadlines: You must submit this assignment to pass the module.
