Painting with Light in Photography

Hi, Matt S Rinc here and I see the possibility to create scripts (using ImageMagick) and/or custom software for adding required lighting effects on the image. Since you have probably researched the issue much more than me currently I am asking you if you have any math behind the light paths curves, best ratio of contrast (to background image), most effective lighting shape samples etc. I imagine a library of custom shapes (e.g. cars, people, furniture, plants etc) to be used and controlled in the software. Lights would be "painted" according to parameters set (e.g. color, line variation, number of "rounds" etc) and by setting control points for example Bezier curves. I will probably have one large e-course to work on but I am definitely interested and the right type of partner to create your software until it's finished. Looking forward to your reply, Matt

I Have 10 years of experience in Multimedia, data work, 3d work, Graphic design, Photo editing & logo design . about 2 years in Photography & Photo color correction . I did lots of Project design.
