I need some graphic design.
Placement white ink: White indicated with spot color White
With this option it is important that you indicate each component with white print with the spot color / spot color ‘White’.
From January 6, 2020, the option "apply white where color is present" can no longer be ordered in the webshop at Plexiglas Helder. The desired effect can still be realized by choosing "white indicated with spot color White" and also specifying the white in your file. Below you will find more information about the layout.
Download and import our sample library or create a sample / swatch yourself. Below we show you how you do that.
Create a spot color (or spot color) "White" in Illustrator
Select the parts to be printed in white and give them a random color (for example CMYK 100/0/0/0).
Choose "New steel" from the menu in your window "Swatches" (or "Swatches).
A pop-up window will appear in which you change the name of the swatch to "White" and the color type to "Spot color" (or "Spot color").
Tip: give the spot color a striking color so that it becomes visible in your design. Despite the striking color, we print this white.
Tip: does your layout consist of two "layers" (full color and White) on top of each other? Then give the top layer the "Overprint fill" attribute. In this way, both layers are read by our printing system.
Another tip: is your full color layer very complex? Then place your "White" layer above and set it to overpressure. This structure of the file does not affect the order of printing, which is based on the specifications that you enter when ordering.
