Bulletin App “Where you need to be” Phase 1 – University specific A feed of events happening at school. The app provides a real time list of events “happening at XX University”. The student will have a timeline consisting of 10 events. The key to the app is the filter. Students should be able to toggle their event listings based on price, location, and genre. The basic sequence of the app is explored this way. Student downloads the app to gain access to happenings at the university. Student promoters, organizations, employers etc can create a new event listing in-app by registering. (Eventually, an in-app purchase). The event is listed in the students feed in sequence of filtered preferences. Price: Bulletin has the potential to transform into a multi faceted social media interface. Combining elements of sharing and promoting events using attendees on Facebook . Real time search and toggle from twitter. Geo-squaring and connecting like Events like foursquare The app is designed to provide intuitive and wide-scale marketing for university students. If a student organization is hosting an etiquette workshop, they can create an event and advertise on the university bulletin that is constantly checked by students. If a student or person is attempting to organize a social event or party, bulletin will provide them with a concise platform for inviting friends and publicizing the event. The app solves the problem “What is there to do today”. When your friends fail to tweet you back, and your facebook events are full of spam (Who uses facebook anymore?) – Bulletin to the rescue.
