Hi! My name is Franco, I am 27 years old and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have a degree in communication, art and design, and for the last 13 years I have been studying illustration with the Villagran brothers, recognized locally and internationally for their work in Marvel Comics, DC Comics and Lucasfilm, where I also worked as an assistant doing backgrounds and inking.
I have published and designed freelance for online platforms and independent publishers in the United States, mostly creating illustrations for comic book development, posters, book covers and storyboards. My designs are handmade with touches of digital art, using tools such as Procreate, Photoshop, Sketchbook and Illustrator.
My work focuses mostly on character design, Comic Books, Storyboarding, Illustration and Book Covers with a style inspired by classic strip illustrations from the 60s and 70s. Some of my references are Jim Lee, Dave Stevens, Mark Schultz, Alex Raymond, John Buscema, John Romina, Neal Adams and Joe Kubert.
