Python And Panda3D Robot Simulation (Updated 2)

We need to implement a simulation of a Robot (in Python and Panda3D) which will probe the area to build the map of the area. And in another simulation, the same robot will be given the map of the area, and the robot will be randomly placed in any location of the area, and the robot will try to figure out its own location on the map.
