Develop a MS Windows screensaver for MS Windows 10 (and, ideally, other currently supported versions of Windows, such as Windows 8, although this is less important). The screensaver will display a website. The URL for the website will be hard-coded in the source code.
The website may use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, video. Ideally, the screensaver will use the Edge browser to render the website and not Internet Explorer. The website does not require the user to click, touch, move the mouse, type, or input data in any way. As is usual for screen savers, if the user clicks or enters data, the screensaver will end.
If the screensaver encounters any errors, it will display the error for 1 minute and then restart the screensaver. Also, there should be an flag in the source code that enables the screensaver to reboot the Windows operating system according at a hardcoded time of day (e.g. midnight).
The deliverable includes the source code, instructions for compiling it, and installable binary. We will test the screensaver on a Windows 10 PC, and other devices, to confirm the deliverable is acceptable.
One more thing, ideally the screensaver is installable in a simple way. For example, it should not require a lot of dependencies beyond what is commonly available on the operating system.
