Extension for Iridium (Chrome) to better manage groups of tabs

I currently use FireFox browser and a extension called Tabs Groups. I want to switch to Iridium (Chrome) however Tab Groups does not exist on this platform. I would like to have a similar extension written as I find working this way very productive. I would also like the extension to be public so others can find and use it. We can discuss how the project is manged after the extension is working, however I would like some support after the project is completed. See pic of how the extension works and a general layout. The concept is I can create many tabs, organize them in to groups, and then use a button on the address bar to open a new screen showing the groups, and select a tab to switch to which activates that group. The tabs don't need to all be active at once. I only need the ability to switch between groups, and once selected the group of tabs becomes active and are the only ones shown on the tab bar., and that tab becomes active and loads. The "inactive" groups are hidden from view until I select them, and tabs don't load until I select them. I am also open to ideas and suggestions, and I will want to maintain the project for future versions of Iridium (Chrome). Thanks!
