Thrive Themes - jQuery Script adjustment
€8-30 EUR

I would like to have a video on a page (wistia/vimeo) and let a button appear after people watched a certain amount of the video.
Thrive has a content reveal element but it does not work for this usecase, because it has a fixed time - I would like to link the reveal directly to the video progress, so people can pause the video etc. and still get the button after they watched lets say 5 minutes and 12 seconds.
I have a working solution for Unbounce but it does not work on Thrive (at least for me, as non-coder, as I can't adjust it properly ?).
In Unbounce I do the following:
1. I hide the element through css -> Your content reveal element does that already.
2. I trigger the element through a script like the following (wistia in this case):
*****
window._wq = window._wq || [];
[login to view URL]({
"VIDEOID": function(video) {
var isHidden = true;
[login to view URL]('secondchange', function(s){
if(s >= 550 && isHidden) {
isHidden = false;
$('#ELEMENT-ID')
.show();
}
});
}
});
*****
Now I would like to have a similar solution working on all my Thrive Theme pages.
Requirements:
- Works with Vimeo, Wistia and Youtube (can be individual scripts)
- The reveal is based on the players time progess (watched more than 3 minutes & 5 seconds)
- It can smoothly reveal a whole section (so we dont have empty space below the video as long as the button is hidden)
Thanks in advance for looking into it.
