We want to interface the Sony IMX377 image sensor, via CSI/MIPI, with the NanoPC-T4 - FriendlyElec board. The work needs to allow Linux to access both MIPI channels on the board, this will require some dev work at the kernel level. We also need the necessary V4L2 integration under Linux

Hi, I am an electronics and computer science engineer, I have experience dealing with building low-level modules to interface with hardware parts, probably the closest one to this is building a custom RAID card driver for one client (he had some specific requirements ...). My background in computer science and embedded electronics gives me a combination of skills required to tackle this type of projects. Will you/did you take care of the circuitry required to interface the sensor with the board? I also would like to ask you other questions related to the project to better understand your requirements. If you are interested, let's talk in chat (or phone call) Looking forward to working with you, as I enjoy this type of projects. Regards, Nabil

My experience using video processing has been considering Hardware Implementation, Software Processing attached to IPC packets and Driver Design in the lower OSI Layers. A background using high-speed serial interfaces like CSI/MIPI and USB 3.1 attached to Type C ports were implemented using C Code and C++. Related to hardware architectures the core processor were iMX (Cortex A7), Cortex A15 and Cortex A9. The Panda Board using the OMAP device was my first experience using V4L2 mounted for MIPI interface. I wish to share with you my technical solutions considering quality on execution and code.
