Proposed milestones 1) Making a communication channel between a camera and Ubuntu 2) Writing an independent package in ROS platform to train and use a recurrent NNT for detecting a missing or displacement bottle

Industry cameras such as point grey come with a template code to handle the basic functions such as opening the aperture, taking a series of pictures zoom etc... One can integrate opencv and or any other image processor libraries for advanced custom operations. The other option is to write the code from scratch. I can do both! - once the object is detected it probably needs to send a control signal to the Robot,but that is not the scope of this particular project.

I have plenty of experience with industrial vision projects. I am a published author of computer vision algorithms. I would need more details, of course. I would like to see the types of images and discuss the invariances that we need to deal with.
