The objective of this work is to link the ripening behaviour of avocadoes to non-destructive and destructive measurements of 'initial' quality characteristics. In particular, the aim of the work is to analyse the collected data from an experiment. On the basis of this, an attempt is made to enable prediction of the ripening behaviour of tropical fruit like avocado based on initial quality measurements. You have to be able to do data fitting in Matlab and perform PCA in Unscrambler-x or SPSS.
