run simulations in matlab

I use matlab on my mac and now i need to access it through my universities high speed computing system (iridis) which operates using Linux. Ive managed to open matlab on the terminal in my mac but that's as far as i got. the codes are all stored in dropbox and i can't open them. i need helped opening and running the codes in terminal and then knowing how to get the results i need someone to guide me through accessing matlab and my files in dropbox on the terminal (linux) so that i can run my simulations then just telling me how i can view the results on matlab for mac as that is im used to
