I have a 240v incandescent bulb lamp that I want to be able to use as a sunrise alarm. I want to be able to have it turn on, but slowly increase in brightness over a set time, so that it mimicks a sunrise. I currently have a solution that was created by another freelancer in a project I posted 9 months ago. It currently is setup via an arduino running an external RTC module and a dimmer module like this one [login to view URL] and works ok. I have two probelms with it I would like to improve. [login to view URL] RTC module seems to slowly lose time and therefore the alarm is no longer accurate. 2. There is no easy way for me to change the alarm time. I have to change the arduino code and re-upload it. I would like to find a better solution. Perhaps using a raspberry pi or similar with and internal clock and either use an LCD screen or a locally hosted web page to be able to change the alarm time. I would also like to be able to set the initial brightness and final brightness as a percentage. And also set a time to ramp up from initial to final brightness. I am seeking assistance to create a system to achieve my goal. I am paying for your expertise and design skills. I can build your solution myself. Hello! I can assist you in making of Sun Rise Alarm. There is some issues in your connection of RTC thats why I would like to know more about your design. I hope we can improve it there. I am also making something similar thing. And in that the timer is working fine. The best method that I am using is that:- 1. I am using Arduino UNO based WIFI module , in which there is inbuilt wifi. [login to view URL] 2. There is RTC connected on the wifi board. 3. The Device works independently. 4. The alarm time could be set from an small application on mobile phone. 5. After connection of wifi between mobile and Wifi module, The mobile will verify the time in RTC if it is not same then It will make correction to it. 6.
