Sorry I meant 200 USD. I need wifi always on for my app no matter what. I hope it's easy for someone. Even if this is a small thing missing somewhere - I agree to give 200 USD for somebody solving this right now. I am building an app for android 7.1.2 and testing on it. Deep doze kicks in and kills all wifi connectivity on it. App needs to have 1 active connection always no matter what. 1. I got wake lock - verified by adb 2. Got wifi lock - verified by adb 3. Whitelisted app over adb And yet when deep doze deep-idle mode comes in - all wifi is killed no matter what. In fact, when deep doze comes - it removes my wifi lock that same moment. I observed this over adb. I can share the code specific to locks and any debugging info from adb and what not.

Hello, I don't know much about your code, but have you tried aquiring the wifi lock in a foreground service? You can also double that by having the service run in a different process.
