User Entry Form/App to Work With MS Outlook Shared Calendar

This is a short term solution we are looking for, long/medium term will are installing an ERP/MRP system. Currently we use a shared ms outlook calendar. This stores when orders are to be manufactured and their progress is logged within the subject line of the appointment. The issue is, updates of progress happen once a day - after paper sheets are updated onto the calendar. What we would like; The progress information added on the shop floor, at point of various completion via a PDA or computer. Ideally in the form of an app or a form where the user enters in (this is for shop floor date entry - hence the reason for a custom form):- The sales order number is typed by the user. This then returns the subject line for the order, which the user can not edit. Options (toggle box) are presented to add a completion stage e.g. cut, cnc, finished. If they click one and press okay, it ask user to confirm, then on confirmation applies the information into the subject line, at the end of existing text in their. e.g. Sop23897 20 off ASYS Released Would then read (if cut was selected by user AL) Sop23987 20 off ASYS Released Cut (AL) Code needs to be open for us to evolve as required.
