Overview: I am looking for a Typescript developer, with React Native experience, to set up the basic framework for our mobile app on React Native. The app is a UX layer over our REST API, and we already have the app implemented in Swift 2. (Since we don't have an Android app and the existing iOS app is built with Swift 2, rather than invest in converting it to Swift 3, we'd like to convert our app to React Native. This also makes sense because our website is written in React.js!) I'd like this to be done in the following way: Milestone 1. Use Swagger-codegen to generate Typescript classes to proxy our API using this HTTP library. You will need to refactor the typescript jquery template to use XMLHttpRequest directly, in order for this to work. [login to view URL] Note: I am a contributor to Swagger-Codegen and can provide developer-level assistance with this part as needed. We want to use Swagger-Codegen as the API is added to frequently and this lets us keep our proxy classes in sync. Milestone 2. Port the UX of a few pages of our iOS app to Android and map the appropriate API calls to the generated classes from Milestone 1 above. Swift source code to the iOS app and/or screenshots (as you prefer) can be provided. Here is a list of the pages: P1. Welcome "How it works carousel" P2. List of Today's Deals (Home page) P3. Deal Detail Page (3 tabs) Once this basic project is done, if we enjoy working with you and feel you are an efficient worker, we would also like to convert the rest of the app (in a future project) and work with you on an ongoing basis.
