Hello, I'm python developer for 4 years and I have a lot of experience in jobs crontab authorization, files downloading and SQL. Before star I need to know the way how can I determinate the missing days and how can I get zip files for these days? Or you can just send me your script and I will take a look at it.

Could you please share the current version of the script with me? Basically, you need to implement some logic to download archives from other/past days. So I need to see how the archive download process works. Then, I would write a simple shell script or oneliner to schedule the download script with cron scheduler.

It sounds like you need a mechanism of telling the application if you forgot to run it for a specific day, and which days it needs to go back for. My intention is to provide a config file which you can just update with the dates missed before running the application. The application will be adapted to read the config file and process the dates configured first before downloading the file for the current date. To configure the application in the cron tab can be done by supplying a batch script. I would need to know the application name and how often it needs to be executed.

The current script can be customized to check the history of downloads (if it can check with the database, or keep score on its own) or I could make you a one-time custom script to get the missed files, and then schedule the current one to work with cron so you don't miss any more files.
