Dear Sir, I can assist you with this project. To allow Datto backup and DVR , the easiest thing to do is to open the ports specific for the Datto backup traffic and DVR traffic in the firewall. This might not be a secure method to transfer backup data or view the DVR data and it might expose the backup devices and DVR to attacks from those on the internet. It would be best to use VPNs instead. 1) A site-to-site or site-to-cloud IPsec VPN for the Datto backup. 2) A client VPN from the SonicWALL firewall for secured access by authorised personnel to the DVR. I think SonicWALL global VPN client or SonicWALL Netextender VPN software can be used. Or a L2TP/IPsec VPN can be created and the windows native VPN client can be used with it.
